Protect It 6 Out Surge

This sits beneath my monitor and provides an up close and easy way to turn on my system. I may selectively turn off elements of the scheme such as printers and speakers while leaving the computer and monitor in the on state. It also provides further and added electrical surge shelter which is necessitated here in Florida with our ligtening storms. Highly recommended, and it is an magnificent value.

Protection + convenience

These under the monitor type surge protectors are outstanding and I am astonished that there aren’t more of them. Why have a rat’s nest of wires hanging in the back of your computer desk?? This organizes, neatens and allows you to turn off person elements without shutting down everything. In my case, I may shut off my monitor, computer, printer and speakers while permitting the cable modem and router to run for my wife and daughter to access the internet with their laptops. This model substituted an older Surgemaster that I had for 4 years and the reason for the alter was due to more power demands by my scheme and peripherals. This one @ 1850 joules powers my 19″ LCD, Athlon 4200+ X2 dual core, 512mb Radeon 1950 XT, Antec 580 Watt Power Supply, RAID array, 12 fans, modem, router, desk lamp, Lexmark all in one flatbed printer/scanner, Logitech cordless keyboard and rechargeable laser mouse, Logitech 5.1 surround speakers………etc. More power to spare…ugh, ugh, ugh, MORE POWER!!!!!! Love it!!

Computer Surge Protector

Purchased the unit to turn off my computer system. Which comprises of a computer, monitor, printer, camera, & audio sound amplifier.
Unit worked as planned for a short time then the main shutoff push on-off master switch stopped working. Previously I had a surge protector for 25 years with no difficulties then I purchased this one as an replacement. This one fits nicely under my watching monitor but the master push button does not shut down my scheme as it was designed to do. I purchased two units one still works and one doesn’t.
