Good Headphones, Mediocre Mic

I have owned a great deal of pairs of skullcandy headphones, and the Ink’d headphones out of all of them are without doubt my favorite. So when ordering, I figured that these would be the same quality. When I received them, I without delay plugged them into my HTC Hero (sprint) and played a couple of songs. The music quality is superior, like popular with Ink’d headphones. There is outstanding bass response, clear treble, and overall the quality of music sounds full and not distorted. The ear buds come with three dissimilar sizes of soft rubber tips to fit your ear. Overall the fit of the headphone is outstanding and it does a outstanding occupation of canceling out most of the noise around you, seeing as these are NOT noise canceling headphones.

NOT made to last

Fool me once…. you recognise how it goes. I unluckily purchased and returned these earbuds 4 times. They each lasted approximately 2-4 weeks before the cord shorted out at the jack. First one ear and then the other. It’s a shame because the sound quality is actually rather good for a low end price. With other inexpensive brands I have owned this has never been a problem. I got the skull candy because at the time it was one of the most inexpensive in-ear designs. I have at last wised up and purchased the entry level pair from SONY. So far they have kept up well. I think the design flaw may be in the fact that the jack comes out straight rather of bending with the flexible 90 degree elbow so when it is in the pocket the wire is constantly being bent. Bottom line – they REALLY do not last!

Still working!!

I in the first place purchased a $70 set of Skullcandy earbuds for my iphone. They broke approx. each 3 months so I had to send them in to Skullcandy for a substitute each 3 months. I necessitated a pair to use while those were out so I purchased these. These are my favored pair now. I’ve had them for approx. 9 months now and not a single problem with them. The sound isn’t the best, but it is better than average. I highly commend these!!
