Great Value
By M. Chan
Let me just say that lately I had 3 in-ear headphones become completely useless for me because the right ear phone blew out. It might have also been do to coiling my wires too tight. I picked these headphones up from Costco for 29 bucks in a 2pack! I actually kind of ignored the fact that they were bass boosted, because commonly when I see that it’s just a cheap gimmick.
It wasn’t until I brought these home and started attempting them that I realized the bass from these headphones were awesome. I listen to a lot of hip hop and RnB, and it is in truth hard to find good, cheap bass heavy headphones that seal out the sound. Sure sufficient the impedance level on these headphones are genuinely as low as 6 Hz.
What I like most is the rubberized case that is provided with the package it actually solves my problem of coiling! perhaps now I won’t blow out the right earpiece from now on. Traveling with these protected is now more comfortable too.
I would also say that straight connector as opposed to the bent connector is a big bonus, because the bent connector is also a outstanding source of wire malfunction. I’m in truth happy with how Phillips thought this product through. I plan on attempting to run with these headphones at a later time, but this was an aweinspiring value purchase.
Highly commend these headphones. Other headphones I commend are my Dre Beats Studio’s and Bose QC 15′s when I need sheer quiet.

Great bang for your buck.
By Jeff
These philips rich bass headphones are amazing. I have owned JVC Marshmallows, Skullcandy ink’d and Skullcandy Titans in the past. I’m a big fan of the insert type ear buds with the silicone tips. All other ear buds hurt my ear after a couple hours of use and headphones just don’t deliver the pure apart sound I like.
I decisive to buy these after my Skullcandy Titans broke from stepping on them while skating. The titans list price is $40 but I got them for $25 on amazon. I would also commend the Titans because they have similar sound quality and look cool.
Anyways back to the subject. The Philips rich bass ear buds attracted me because of the “Rich Bass” in the name. A friend had purchased these before I did and they do in truth have amazingly rich bass. I listen to a lot of heavy bass music (Electro, House, Dubstep, etc…) and these blow the Skullcandy away in the bass department.
I likewise like the cord, it seems very sturdy and is shorter than the Skullcandy so when I put it beneath my shirt with the buds in my collar and ipod in my pocket, the cord doesn’t develop a giant loop that gets caught on objects. I use these ear buds for the most part while skating and I like the sound isolation. I don’t have to blast the music just to listen it over the sound of my board.
I have no complaints for these philips ear buds and would unquestionably buy them again when the time comes. Rich bass, clean crisp sound, and lightweight. Hope this review helps

The sound quality is good, in particular for the price, but the headphones are not very comfortable and tend to fall out when I run. Also, with the volume at a comfortable level, I may weirdly listen background noise in truth clearly.
