Intec refill Kit for HP564/564XL

This is my introductory try at refilling. Everything worked effortlessly. I refilled 4 out of 5 cartridges with out spilling a drop. I did get a bit of dye on my hands, but that was for the duration of the clean up, by the sink. Just follow the instructions, work slow and you wont have any problems.
The most difficult part of the refill, was determining how much ink to use. I couldn’t figure, how much ink was left in the cartridges. I expended a lot of time researching, attempting to determine what the capacity of the cartridges are. There’s a lot of dissimilar information, on the internet, as to the capacity of these cartridges. I at long last determined that 564 color cartridges hold 4.5 ml, 564 Black holds 6 mil, 564XL color holds 8 ml and 564XL Black holds 18 ml.
I worked very slow. Slower than the instructions directed. When you refill these cartridges, the ink has to soak the sponges in the cartridges. Filling too fast will cause the ink to back up, because the sponge can’t absorb the ink quickly. Over estimating how much ink to use, could cause an overfill and leak out the top of the cartridge’s air vent.
There is a little downside to using refilled HP564/564XL cartridges. Each cartridge has a chip on it, which records the cartridge’s usage. When I put the refilled cartridge back into the printer, the printer displayed a message, that I am using a applied cartridge and reads the cartridge as empty. The cartridge works fine even though and the ink flows normally. I need to keep a watch out for a chip resetter for this cartridge.
The print out looks fine, indistinguishable from original HP ink/dye. This product is very good, I’d commend it to any person who wants to save a bunch of bucks. I approximated that a refill of all [5] 564XL cartridges costs me $9.55 vs. $90.00 for full set of authenti HP 564XL cartridges. That’s a savings of 89%.

Easy to use and good quality

I not long back purchased the whole set of refill inks for the introductory time after years of buying very good quality refurb cartridges for my HP printers. The only reason I went with the refill kit was the availability of the 564 cartridge “with chip” was scarce and the pricing wasn’t all that great. I’ve always been skeptical of refill kits but took a probability anyways. I’ll shout it from the top my lungs “The Intec refill kit is super easy to use!” Just go to their internet site and watch the brief instructional video before you touch anything. Follow the instructions!!! Wear your latex gloves, do the refill on a paper towel, use your head. For less than half the price of a set of HP OEM cartridges you get 3-5 refills depending on regular or XL cartridges! Wow! What is HP smoking anyways, charging closely a $100 for finish set of XL cartridges? Absurd! I’m using this kit on a HP Photosmart Premium w/fax (C309a) and have zero complaints. Printing a lot of CD/DVD’s direct to disc which is the main reason I upgraded from the Photosmart C7280 AIO. Buy a lot of silver inkjet hub printable discs, JVC or Verbatim (Taiyo Yuden blank media is now labeled JVC) link: Taiyo Yuden – 100 x DVD-R – 4.7 GB 16x – silver – ink jet printable surface, printable inner hub – brick – storage media (pack of 6 ) and prepare to have your mind blown by how awful they look. Your friends and family will be jealous at basi and then get tired of you showing them all the cool discs you’re printing with your amazing new printer. Be admonished that the Photo Black goes fast printing direct to disk.

Refill kit

I have applied dissimilar refill kits in the past. This one was the best quality I have seen. Good instructions. Just fill it up tardily and don’t undertake to overfill. You will be fine. I could not see a divergence in print quality.
