Good price for a hard to find item

I purchased a VICKS® ComfortFlex(tm) Digital Thermometer which came with a dead battery. After 2 weeks of looking for a battery replacement, I purchased this product, which works great and was not dead (or near dead) on arrival. After 3 months of each day use I’m still on the initial of five batteries with no indications of a low battery.

OLD Batteries

These batteries were listed as “new”. This may be true, but the batteries themselves were fabricated over ten years ago. There was no power left in these batteries when I got rid of them from the package. Waste of money!!!

These batteries are rare to get. I searched over assorted stores and could not find one. Search Amazon, found it, placed an order and had it shipped for free. The batteries work great.. No complaints at all.
