Phillips HIR2 9012 Headlights

These lights live up to their promise and the Phillips reputation.
The light cast from the headlights is whiter and brighter, permitting me to see further down the road more clearly. I highly commend these bulbs to any individual with 9012 sockets from the factory, or someone looking to upgrade their 9006 lights.
(9012 lights may be modified to fit into a 9006 socket, it involves a little trimming of the plastic tab with nail clippers or a file)

HIR Bulbs – Best Choice

I installed a set of 9012 HIR2 bulbs in my low beams & 9011 HIR bulb in my hi-beam. They construct unbelievable light output & maximize the halogen housing in my 2009 Toyota Corolla without manufacturing glare like HID kits. The light is likewise more usable than HID kits that are 5000K & above. These are worth each penny.

No dissimilar than a usual low beam

Just installed the Philips HIR2 9012 in my 2001 Oldsmobile Alero last night at a dark athletic field away from street lights. Took photos before, with new bulb in passenger side and after both new bulbs installed. I found utterly no betterment in lighting performance.
